AN INNOVATION IN
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
Pictures and
Digital Originals, what's the
difference? All digital cameras
capture images in a digital format - 1's
and 0's. So that we can see these
images on the back of a camera this
information is converted in to a file
format that can be displayed (that's the
Digital original part). The file format
is JPG (pronounced Jpeg) which is well
known to computer users. It is this file
that we sell to you allowing you to ....
well, do anything you want really,
including printing on paper.
Once the digital original is printed the
resultant output is called a .....
Picture. So paper prints are Pictures
and the electronic numbers are Digital
Originals.
How can we
pay? We accept all the well known
credit and debit cards and you can use
PayPal via our web site. Cash works too. A receipt
will be given for each payment received.
How many
pictures will you take?
We would normally expect to shoot around
200 - 400 images in a 90 minute photo
session.
Changes of
clothes? You may bring as many
changes as you want.
Hair and
Make-up? Our changing facilities
include mirrors and hairdryers.
Props?
We have a few but if there is anything
special you would like to use then bring
them along.
What else can
you do in Photoshop? Basic colour
correction, light balancing and minor
skin blemishes are included in the
price. For an
additional charge of per image, we
can apply a whole range of effects,
looks, make-up, advanced skin
enhancement, etc.
Do you do
prints, albums, frames, etc.? We
most certainly do. Our prices are
certainly higher than those quoted on
the high street but then, so is the
quality. If you are looking for that
perfect print finish then we have a full
price list of all our printing options.
We also have a range of samples in our
studio so please ask.
What do you
mean by cheap prints? Most
supermarkets and many high street stores
offer digital printing facilities. And
many of these same businesses have an
on-line service where the range of
products is huge. And their prices are
low and start at £0.40p. That's
low. |
